In association with Sykes Digital Services, the event will see a panel of industry leaders explore how the volatile market is set to impact their businesses.

They will go on to examine how intelligent automation can help pave the way through the uncertainty and obstacles that lie ahead.

Among those taking part in the debate will be:

  • Richard Rowntree, managing director of mortgages at Paragon Bank
  • Kevin Purvey, director of mortgage distribution at Coventry Building Society,
  • Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediary distribution at Accord Mortgages
  • Sarah Green, client director at Sykes Digital Services

Mortgage Finance Gazette is renowned for its popular round table events but due to the pandemic we are unable to continue with the traditional format where attendees meet in person to appraise the big issues facing the industry.

Therefore we have decided to move the event online, which means you can now view the virtual debate live at 11 am on Friday 27 November.

If you cannot make the event for the live broadcast, we will be videoing the discussion and posting it on the Mortgage Finance Gazette website for you to view at your convenience.

Sarah Green, client director at Sykes Digital Services, said: “It goes without saying 2020 has been turbulent year for the mortgage market.

“More recently, the extension of mortgage payment deferrals and concerns over default spikes along with the strain on the pipeline caused by the stamp duty holiday mean this turmoil looks set to continue into 2021.

“In this round table event we will examine how intelligent automation can help us prepare for and navigate the challenges ahead. We are looking forward to taking part in what we fully expect to be a very informative and productive discussion.”
