The iconic Henry M. Flagler Museum is one of the most well-known estates on Palm Beach Island.  The museum was once home to Henry M. Flagler and his wife Mary. Flagler was an American Industrialist and known as one of the island’s founders. The grand estate features more than 100,000 square feet of space that is filled with some of the most about history about the Gilded Age and Palm Beach.

Today, the estate is open to visitors for tours of the grand estate, estate grounds, Flagler’s Railcar No. 91, the Flagler Kenan Pavilion, The Museum Shop, and The Exhibition Gallery.  Recently the museum’s Café des Beaux Arts has opened for visitors to stop by and grab a picnic lunch while exploring the estate.  Café des Beaux Arts offers seasonal refreshments and a new a la carte option called PICNIC with the Gilded Age inspired foods to enjoy in the Cocoanut Grove gardens.

The new grab and go fare does not require reservations or pre-order, the picnic box lunches and seating in the garden are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Menu items include specialty teas, Victorian cakes and desserts, cheese platters, cookies, fruit, honey, potato salad, turkey sandwiches, and more.

PICNIC by Café des Beaux Arts is now open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 am to 3 pm.

The Flagler Museum is currently open for tours Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 5 pm. Tickets must be purchased online at this time; tickets will not be sold at the door. For tickets, click here.
