Bath Building Society has extended its mortgage product range to mainland Scotland, it has announced.

The building society’s residential, ‘buy for uni’, rent a room and parent assisted mortgage schemes will all now be available across Scotland.

Furthermore, for investors, buy-to-let and holiday let products will also be offered to those in Scotland.

Bath Building Society head of mortgages Steve Matthews says: “The Society is known in the mortgage market for its innovation, individual underwriting, and personal service and it is an exciting development for the society to be able to offer its mortgage expertise to those wishing to purchase a property in mainland Scotland.

“Those that know the society, will know that we are passionate about giving customers a special experience that may not be available elsewhere.”

This follows United Trust Bank’s announcement yesterday, 15 January, that it was extending its bridging range to Scotland.
