TSB details rate increases of up to 0.55% | Mortgage Strategy

TSB has detailed rate changes within its residential products of up to 0.55 per cent, first announced yesterday.

Under house purchases, the 75 per cent to 80 per cent LTV two-year fix with £995 fee has seen 0.35 per cent added, moving its rate to 1.94 per cent, as has the five-year fix product with the same specifications, which is now set at 2.24 per cent.

The 75 per cent LTV to 80 per cent LTV five-year product with zero fee has also had its rate upped by 0.35 per cent, bringing it to 2.54 per cent.

The biggest rate changes occur within remortgage products. Here, the 80 per cent LTV to 85 per cent LTV two-year fix with £995 fee has had 0.50 per cent added, bringing its rate to 2.34 per cent, while the zero fee version has been upped by 0.55 per cent, resulting in a rate of 2.74 per cent.

Other changes for remortgages include the 60 per cent LTV to 75 per cent LTV five-year fix with £995 fee having increased by 0.20 per cent to 1.79 per cent and the 80 per cent LTV to 85 per cent LTV five-year fix with zero fee receiving a 0.30 per cent increase, bringing it up to 2.69 per cent.

Meanwhile, 0.40 per cent increases occur in the Shared Ownership house purchase range. The 0 per cent to 60 per cent LTV five-year fix with zero fee is now 2.44 per cent and the 80 per cent LTV to 85 per cent LTV with zero fee is now 3.09 per cent.

TSB has also brought out a selection of new Shared Equity house purchase products on a five-year fix. At 0 per cent LTV to 60 per cent LTV the rate is set at 2.44 per cent and, at 80 per cent LTV to 85 per cent LTV, at 3.09 per cent.

All of the new Shared Equity products command zero fee.
