Across the residential purchase and remortgage range three 2-year fixes are reduced.

All coming with a £999 fee the 75% LTV product is down to 1.38% from 1.50%, at 80% the rate drops from 2.04% to 1.97% and finally at 85% the reduction is from 2.75% to 2.49%.

Existing Barclays Mortgages customers can also benefit from price reductions with its 1.44% 2-year fix at 75% LTV reduced to 1.38% and its 1.99% 2-year fix dropping to 1.97%.

Both again come with a £999 fee.

The changes will come into effect tomorrow, Wednesday 31 March.
