BM Solutions and Halifax cut selected rates; Vida withdraws products tweaks

BM Solutions and Halifax Intermediaries have both announced rate changes to selected products.

BM Solutions is making the following changes to its mortgage product range from 24 August: For its Personal Ownership Buy to Let and Let to Buy Purchase, there are rate reductions of up to 0.11% on selected two, three and five-year fixed rates

For remortgage there are rate reductions of up to 0.14% on selected two, three and five-year fixed rates

For Limited Company Buy to Let, there are rate reductions of up to 0.04% on selected two and five year fixed rates

Brokers must ensure any applications on existing products are fully submitted before 5pm on 22 August.

Halifax Intermediaries is also making changes to its mortgage product range with effect from 24 August:

For homemover and first-time-buyer customers there are rate reductions of up to 0.11% on selected fixed rate products.

And for remortgage, there is a rate reduction of 0.13% on 60% loan to value, two-year fixed rate with a £1,999 product fee.

As reported by Moneyfacts, the last week has seen a steady flow of rate reductions. 

Meanwhile Vida Homeloans has given advance notice that it will be withdrawing its New Business and Product Transfer mortgage product range at 11:59pm on 24th August. It will then relaunch a new range the following morning, Tuesday 25 August.

Decisions in principle, with product selected, must be completed, Monday 24 August by 11:59pm.

To ensure  the lender can progress cases as smoothly as possible, Vida is asking brokers to ensure all fees are paid and mandatory documents are uploaded, and that the case is progressed to the ‘application received’ stage by 5pm on Friday 28 August.
