Pepper Money has launched a new range of limited company buy-to-let mortgages and made several changes to the rest of its products.

The new offering for limited companies includes two and five year fixed rates, based on a 125 per rental calculation.

With up to 80 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) for investors who are buying or remortgaging in a special purpose vehicle, they are available to first-time landlords up to those with portfolios of 16 properties.

Free valuations are available for purchase and remortgage across the limited company range, as well as for standard BTL.

Standard BTL mortgage rates, previously started at 3.28 per cent, have been cut.

Now a five year fix starts at 3.19 per cent, and on two year fixed Pepper 48, 36 and 24 month credit condition products – for no county court judgements in that time – rates now begin at 3.05 per cent. The completion fee has increased to 2 per cent.

The lender has also tweaked the Pepper 48 buy-to-let 75 per cent LTV five-year fixed rates. They now start from 3.28 per cent, down from 3.43 per cent.

A free valuation option for purchase and remortgage products has been launched, with a £995 completion fee.

Across the residential core range some rates have been reduced. They all now start from 2.9 per cent.

Also repriced are mortgage products for those who have been in a debt management plan. Rates now start from 3.63 per cent, a drop from 3.78 per cent.

Paul Adams, sales director at Pepper Money, says: “This new year, it really is a case of out with the old and in with the new at Pepper Money.

“We have conducted in-depth analysis of the market and how our products can best meet the needs of brokers and their clients, and implemented the recommendations right across our range.

“These new year changes are a signal of our intent for 2020 as we intend to continue increasing our lending, work with more brokers, and help more customers achieve their objectives.”
