The top five lenders in the ranking have an average mortgage origination volume of more than $8.8 billion as of the end of the third quarter of 2023. Some banks saw an increase in volume between Q2 and Q3, one nearly doubled its growth with an increase of 15.59%.

The data was sourced from National Mortgage News' MortgageStats site, which pulls from quarterly call reports available from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
