Mortgage Brain has integrated Assurant Intermediary into its CRM Brain module.

The integration will allow brokers access to household and landlord insurance from Assurant’s range of products along with their multi-insurer panel as part of the mortgage application process.

Once a mortgage application has been submitted through CRM Brain, brokers will be prompted to ask their client whether they’d like help arranging home insurance.

Client data already captured in CRM Brain is used so brokers don’t need to switch systems or re-key information.

Mortgage Brain chief commercial officer Neil Wyatt says: “Adding Assurant Intermediary to CRM Brain means brokers have more choice when it comes to protecting their clients’ properties, whatever the circumstances, without leaving the system they already use.”

Assurant Intermediary head of sales Monita Suter adds: “By bringing Assurant Intermediary into CRM Brain, brokers can raise home insurance at the point their client has just completed their mortgage application, without stepping outside the system they use every day.”
