Simpson joins the committee as one of five elected directors and four co-opted directors and she takes office on 1 January for one year.

In November, Louisa Sedgwick was appointed Imla representative for Hampshire Trust Bank.

Simpson says: “I am delighted to have been elected onto the management committee of Imla and very much look forward to working alongside all members of IMLA.”

Imla executive director Kate Davies says: “This is Imla’s largest management committee to date and I would like to congratulate all those who have been elected.

“It’s good to see a more diverse committee for 2022, with Tracy and Louisa (Sedgwick) on board, and the mix of new and experienced members should give us an excellent base on which to build in the coming year.
