NatWest increases rates by up to 25bps for new and existing business | Mortgage Strategy

NatWest has announced rate changes to its new business and existing customer product ranges up to 25 basis points.

The biggest increases are seen within NatWest’s buy-to-let (BTL) Standard Switcher Range for existing customers.

The two-year fixed rate switcher 75% loan-to-value (LTV) has increased by 25 basis points from 2.42% to 2.67% with a product fee of £995.

The five-year fixed rate switcher 75% LTV has gone up by 24 basis points from 2.75% to 2.99% with no product fee.

Within its Core Range for residential borrowers, the two-year fixed rate switcher 75% LTV has increased by 22 basis points from 2.42% to 2.64% with a product fee of £995.

The five-year fixed rate switcher 60% LTV has increased by 14 basis points to 2.63% with a product fee of £995.

For new customers, NatWest has introduced a two-year fixed rate at 2.44% at a maximum of 75% LTV with a £1,495 product fee.

It has also introduced a new two-year fixed rate remortgage at 2.39% at a maximum of 75% LTV and a five-year fix remortgage at 2.59%. Both have a product fee of £1,495.

New products also include a five-year fix at 2.54% at a maximum of 60% LTV with a £1,495 product fee.

The changes will be effective from 10:30pm on 31 May.
