Brilliant Solutions has added Darlington Intermediaries to its lending panel.

The mortgage club says the deal gives its members access to the broker-only lender’s range of standard and specialist mortgages including interest only, buy-to-let, complex income or property, and credit-impaired loans.

The lender, part of Darlington Building Society, says it “has a flexible approach to specialist lending “, adding that its range includes specialist let, including holiday let, and joint borrower and sole proprietor purchases.

Brilliant Solutions also manages payments for many lenders, which it says improves payment times while simplifying the process.

It adds the business is “none transactional”, only making profits through broker relationships.

Darlington Intermediaries head of intermediary distribution Chris Blewitt says: “Our strapline at the society is ‘We make complex cases simple’, and with no credit scoring each application is underwritten on an individual basis.

“We look forward to working with their advisors, especially those with trickier and more specialist cases.”
