Halifax is making discounted mortgage rates for eligible Club Lloyds customers available through brokers from tomorrow.
The new Loyalty Club range means qualifying customers buying a home will be able to access the same Club Lloyds mortgage discount whether they apply directly or through Halifax Intermediaries.
The products will be available for first-time buyer and homemover purchases, including New Build Extended and Affordable Housing applications.
At least one applicant must hold a qualifying Club Lloyds current account, including Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver or Club Lloyds Platinum.
There is no minimum income requirement and customers can open or upgrade to an eligible account before selecting one of the products.
The Loyalty Club range will not be available for remortgages, further advances or product transfers.
It will sit alongside Halifax’s existing Loyalty Premier range, which is available to customers with a qualifying current account and requires at least one applicant to have an income of £100,000 or more.
Loyalty Premier products are available for purchases, remortgages, product transfers and further advances.
No minimum income requirement applies to product transfers or further advances.
Halifax Intermediaries acting head Leigh Church says: “By making our new Loyalty Club mortgage products available through Halifax Intermediaries, eligible Club Lloyds customers can access the discount whether they choose to arrange their mortgage through a broker or come to us directly.
“It’s another step in how we’re developing our intermediary proposition and fulfilling our commitment to the broker market as we move towards the launch of Lloyds Intermediaries in 2027.”
