TSB cuts selected switcher rates by 45 bps but raises others | Mortgage Strategy

TSB has cut selected product transfer rates by up to 45 basis points today, while also raising the cost of some rate switcher deals.

The lender has made changes to both buy-to-let and residential rate switcher deals.

The following residential deals are among those to see the biggest cuts:

  • Five-year fixed rate at 1.79% up to 75% LTV with a £995 fee reduced by 45 bps to 1.34%
  • Two-year fixed rate at 1.39% up to 75% LTV with a £995 fee reduced by 30 bps to 1.09%
  • Two-year fixed rate at 1.14% up to 60% LTV with a £995 fee reduced by 20 bps to 0.94%
  • Two-year fixed rate at 2.44% up to 85% LTV with a £995 fee reduced by 20 bps to 2.24%
  • Two-year fixed rate at 3.04% up to 60% LTV with no fee reduced by 20 bps to 2.84%
  • Five-year fixed rate at 1.39% up to 60% LTV with a £995 fee reduced by 20 bps to 1.19%

Further residential and buy-to-let product transfer deals have been cut by between 5 and 15 basis points.

TSB has increased the following switcher rates:

  • Residential 10-year fixed rate at 2.14% up to 60% LTV with no fee increased by 45 bps to 2.59%
  • Residential five-year fixed rate at 1.69% up to 60% LTV with no fee increased by 25 bps to 1.94%

Several other deals have increased by between 5 and 20 bps.
