Groundsure, the environmental and climate insights provider, has announced that Malcolm Smith, currently Chief Operating Officer, is to become the CEO with effect from 15 July.
The change comes as Dan Montagnani leaves the business to pursue other projects, after 19 years with the business.
Montagnani commented: “It has been an amazing journey and I am proud of all that this extraordinary team has achieved over the last two decades. We’ve always been clear on what makes us great and stuck to our principles of being a purpose-driven force for good, alongside achieving huge commercial success and returning long term, sustainable shareholder value.”
On his new role Smith said: “It is a privilege to take on the leadership of the business and for our inspirational colleagues and I to continue on the next important chapter of our journey. I want to pay tribute to Dan, with whom I have worked alongside for many years and to thank him for his massive contribution, support and vision.”
He added: “We have a pipeline of really exciting projects and innovations to share and I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead and to engage with and delight our customers, old and new.”
