Last week the PGA Tour, in a joint statement with the USGA and the PGA of America, laid out their plan for how they envision the remainder of the 2020 golf calendar looking moving forward.

As of now, all PGA Tour events have been cancelled until the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial May 21. In addition, the Open Championship and Olympic golf event have both been cancelled and the other three majors (the Masters, US Open, and PGA Championship) have all been postponed until later in the calendar year. 

With the announcement, we now know when those three majors will be held, along with the Tour's plan for how they will handle the remainder of the year. 

For starters, the new major schedule will look like this:

* The Open Championship - CANCELLED * The PGA Championship - August 6-9 * The U.S. Open - September 17-20 * The Masters - November 12-15

Additionally, the Ryder Cup, originally scheduled for September 25-27 at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin will be played as scheduled. That means that, under the new schedule, it will be held one week after the U.S. Open.

As for the PGA Tour schedule, while there are still a lot of things to consider as far as when stay-at-home orders will be lifted, here is how the Tour sees the remainder of their season playing out as of now:

Based on this new schedule, all of the FedEx Cup Playoff events will be moved back 1 week with the official Tour season ending September 7th. Also of note, the 2020 Masters will be played AFTER the completion of the 2020 PGA Tour season.
