Join the Friends of Jupiter Beach for the first beach cleanup of 2021!  The Friends of Jupiter Beach has been organizing beach cleanups on the FIRST Saturday of every month since 1994.  Join the non-profit organization this Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 8:30am – 9:30am at designated beach crossovers.  Volunteers, ranging from the young to the young at heart, (ages 4 to 84 and multiple generations), arrive from surrounding areas to help remove trash & recyclables.

Friends of Jupiter Beach is a 501(c)(3) community organization whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally health, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida.

If you are interested in helping keep our beaches clean, consider coming out this Saturday! It is a wonderful way that residents of the Jupiter area can contribute to their community. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask. Limit groups to 10 people or less.  Here is what you need to know if you want to participate:

MEET: Designated crossovers #49, #51, #53, #55 & #57 (subject to change).

ARRIVE WEARING: Closed-toe shoes, hats, sunscreen, bug spray. NO FLIP FLOPS. Protect arms and legs.  Bring your own drinking water.

WHAT HAPPENS:  Arrive at the crossover, a Friends of Jupiter Beach volunteer will have you sign in, provide gloves, bags, and pickers.  You may bring your own if you prefer.

SHINE ONLY: Beach cleanups are cancelled in rain or dangerous weather. If in doubt call by 7:00am (561) 748 – 8140.  If there is no cancel message, the cleanup is a GO. If cancelled, no rescheduling, see you next month!

A special thank you to Loggerhead Fitness for being this month’s beach cleanup sponsor!
