GB Bank has relaunched its commercial lending range and increased its maximum loan size from £20m to £25m.
The bank will offer bridging and longer-term loans for the purchase and refinance of commercial property.
It will also allow borrowers to combine bridging and term finance within the same funding structure, for example where short-term funding is required for a purchase or refurbishment before moving onto a longer-term loan.
GB Bank will consider loans from £1m to £25m up to 65% LTV.
Eligible assets include retail units, offices and mixed-tenancy properties, with lending available to individuals, limited companies, special purpose vehicles and trusts.
Lending is available across mainland England, Scotland and Wales.
GB Bank chief lending officer and deputy chief executive Pankaj Thukral says: “The commercial investment lending proposition is a direct response to conversations we have been having with intermediaries, who have told us they want greater support with commercial property opportunities.
“Commercial property transactions rarely fit neatly into a box.
“Borrowers increasingly need a lender that can take a holistic view of an opportunity and structure funding around the asset, the borrower and their longer-term objectives.
“Our specialist lending team understands the complexities that can come with commercial investment transactions and works closely with brokers to structure facilities that meet the needs of both the borrower and the asset.”
