The UK mortgage industry is being invited to a new industry-wide Fantasy Premier League for the 2026/27 season, with every penny of entry money going to the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter.

Mortgage Advice Bureau and JammJar sponsor the prizes, with 100% of donated entry fees (£10 minimum) going to the charter. The deadline for entry is 21 August.

The league is organised by mortgage tech specialist JammJar and open to anyone working across mortgages and property finance: brokers, lenders, networks, clubs, packagers, conveyancers, surveyors and suppliers.

Mortgage Advice Bureau is also supporting the competition as sponsor of the top prize, putting up two tickets to watch an England men’s home international from Club Wembley for whoever tops the table at the end of the season.

JammJar is funding the cash prizes, which include an additional £200 for the winner, £200 for second place and £100 for third.

This sponsorship means that no entry money is used to fund prizes and 100% of every entry is collected on behalf of the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC).

The charter, founded in 2021, is a not-for-profit foundation working to improve mental health and wellbeing across the mortgage and property finance industry. More than 400 firms have now signed it, covering over 30,000 people.

Commenting on the launch, co-founder of MIMHC Jason Berry, said: “It’s brilliant to see JammJar and Mortgage Advice Bureau come together behind an initiative that combines a bit of healthy industry competition with a cause that matters to all of us.”

He added: “One of the things we continually champion through MIMHC is the importance of connection. Fantasy football creates conversation, friendly rivalry and a reason for people right across our industry to engage with each other, while raising funds that will be reinvested into improving mental health and wellbeing support.”
