BPS provides products including shareholder protection insurance, key person insurance, relevant life plans and medical insurance.

Its team is led by managing director John McComiskey, who founded the business in 2010.

The move fulfils Pivotal Growth’s ambition to expand its offering in Northern Ireland and enter a new specialist market in business protection broking.

The investor says BPS’s expertise, motivation and vision will play a crucial role in advancing its broader strategy.

BPS is the latest in a long list of acquisitions made by Pivotal Growth, a joint venture between listed business LSL Property Services and asset manager Pollen Street.

Pivotal acquired Watts Commercial Finance just last week and notably purchased mortgage broker John Charcol last year.
