The partnership will see the lender’s logo feature on the men’s first team shorts, alongside branded advertising boards around the pitches.
Pepper Money offers a range of residential and buy-to-let (BTL) products to customers who may be experiencing difficulties obtaining a mortgage from a high street bank or building society, due to circumstances such as complex income, self-employment, adverse credit and financial blips.
Laurence Morey, chief executive at Pepper Money, said: “I’m really pleased we are able to support Richmond Rugby in this way.
“As a business we promote financial inclusion and work hard to ensure we make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate.
“Rugby is an inclusive sport that is open to everyone, and anyone who knows Richmond Rugby will know what a positive contribution it makes to its own community.
“So, we are closely aligned in our values and I think this partnership can be a very positive thing for both Richmond Rugby and Pepper Money.”
Jimmy Wallace, group commercial director for Richmond Rugby, added: “We are really thrilled to get Pepper Money on-board as a premier partner.
“There is a strong affiliation between many of the two teams, and we look forward to strengthening our ties going forward and working closely together for the mutual benefit of both parties.”
