Back by popular demand, Young ArtMakers offers a creative summer experience in the sparkling gallery space of MACC—designed for ages 5 to 17. Led by talented teaching artists and gallery staff, this immersive program blends artistic exploration with small-group instruction, peer connection, and an inspiring cultural setting. Each week runs Tuesday–Friday. Session fee: $120 (supplies included).
Participants also enjoy a guided tour of the MACC Biennial exhibit, encouraging them to connect contemporary art practices with their own creative expression.

July 19, 2025 – Trucker Dukes Memorial Dive Tournament
Rinzai Zen Mission at Baldwin Beach, Pa‘ia6:30 am–1 pm
The 3rd Annual freedive spearfishing tournament and invasive fish roundup to benefit UVSC (Us Versus Cancer). Participants compete in age-group divisions and a new statewide photo contest. The day includes a silent auction, keiki crafts, community booths, safety workshop, weigh-ins, awards, and lunch. All profits support families impacted by cancer.

Hosted by Na Moku Aupuni o Koʻolau Hui, Koʻolauleʻa celebrates the ancestral ʻāina (land), ʻōpio (youth), and community resilience of East Maui. Designed as a cultural hui and fundraiser for student scholarships, this day-long event is a vibrant tapestry of island heritage and aloha stewardship.
