Debbie Staveley, chief executive and founder of bClear Communications, said: “I’m really pleased that Jo is joining our team.
“Having someone of Jo’s calibre join bClear, with her depth of knowledge both of journalism and the mortgage market, will add real value to our clients.
“The pandemic and the various lockdowns have really highlighted the need for good PR as a route for companies to get their voices heard and their products and services to market.
“As a result the demand for good communication has skyrocketed. Having Jo join the team will help us to meet that growing demand.”
Atkin added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Debbie and the team as bClear continues to grow.
“Even in these uncertain times, firms need good PR and I know from my former life as an editor that bClear punches above its weight.
“I’m looking forward to working with current clients and new ones and can’t wait to get started.”
