Virgin Money has hired Andy Cooke as a national account manager at the high street lender.
Cooke’s post is one where the typical focus is to grow trading relationships with a range of brokers, networks and other partners.
He joins from the Bank of Ireland, where he was a national account manager at the business for four years.
Prior to that, he worked at the Irish lender for almost two-and-half years as a corporate account manager.
Before that, Cooke worked for the Mortgage Advice Bureau for almost three years, leaving as a Gloucester-based regional business development manager in 2017.
Overall, Cooke has over two decades of experience in the financial services markets.
A Virgin Money spokesperson says: “Andy has recently joined the Virgin Money intermediaries national account team and we’re delighted to have him on board working with our broker partners.”
“He has been in financial services for over 25 years, so brings with him a wealth of experience and compliments the team brilliantly.”
