NatWest makes switcher resi and BTL rate reductions | Mortgage Strategy

NatWest has made a series of cuts to its residential and buy-to-let (BTL) switcher mortgage suites.

In the residential range, the cuts range from range form 26 basis points to 60 basis points. Notable changes include:

  • The 60% LTV two-year fix with £495 product fee being cut by 38 basis points, to 5.89%.
  • The 60% LTV two-year fix for high value mortgages with £1,495 product fee being reduced by 43 basis points, to 5.66%.
  • The 90% LTV two-year fix with £995 product fee having 28 basis points removed to take its rate to 6.04%.
  • The 75% LTV five-year fix with £995 product fee being cut by 60 basis points, to 5.44%.

And in the BTL range, changes are limited to two-year fixes and include:

  • The 60% LTV product with £995 fee being cut by 43 basis points to 5.79%
  • The 90% LTV product with zero product fee having 21 basis points chopped off, leaving its rate to 6.39%.
