Legal & General Mortgage Club has appointed Joseph Wilson as Key Relationship Manager.

Wilson (pictured) joins with almost eight years of experience as a business development manager for London and Essex at TSB Bank and as a mortgage broker and banking adviser at Which? Mortgage Advisers, Nationwide Building Society, and Halifax.

In his new role at L&G, Wilson will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing partners and recruiting new accounts. He will act as an extension to clients’ teams, offering technical expertise and guidance as they drive their businesses forward.

The appointment comes as Legal & General Mortgage Club expands its relationship support, having grown the dedicated team from three to eight members this year.

Head of broker and propositions Clare Beardmore says: “Joseph’s combination of fantastic people skills and an extensive knowledge of the mortgage sector means that he will be a strong asset to our growing team. I am very much looking forward to welcoming him onboard and introducing him to our valued partners. We are always on the lookout for top talent, but even more so during a very active time for the market.”

Wilson says: “I am delighted to take this next step in my career and look forward to building on my experience in this important market to create a tangible difference for all our members. This is a crucial period for the mortgage sector, and I am eager to drive great results for all.”
