The firm says Corfield has a track record in business development and relationship management with expertise in identifying new business opportunities and managing and delivering property finance.   

He reports to Sancus UK head of sales Jaxon Stevens.  

Corfield joins from Lloyds Banking Group, leaving as a relationship director earlier this month, following a career with the bank spanning over 18 years where he built a network of clients, intermediaries, and professionals.   

His responsibilities included providing solutions to complex financial situations while building a portfolio of businesses, specialising in mortgages and lending.  

Corfield began his career at the bank as a business telephone advisor in October 2004.  

Sancus is a specialist lender offering bridging, development and refurbishment property finance to property developers and investors, professional landlords and construction specialists.   

Sancus managing director, UK Richard Whitehouse says: “We are looking forward to working with Mark to support property developers and investors throughout the UK.   

“The recent extension in our primary funding line also means that Mark, along with the rest of the team, will be able to offer up to 90% loan-to-cost on development finance products moving forward.”
