The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries has launched its Protection Viewpoint survey and is asking brokers for their opinions on insurance, new Consumer Duty guidance and a range of other matters.

Ami says the poll, back for the fourth year in a row, is anonymous and only takes five minutes to complete.

It adds that brokers do not have to be a member of the trade body to fill in the survey, which sets out to identify industry “opportunities, barriers and challenges from an intermediary perspective”.

The poll closes on 6 September.

Ami, alongside sponsors L&G and Royal London, will share the findings from the adviser and consumer polls during a launch event on 8 November.

Ami senior policy adviser Stacy Penn says: “Adviser views form an important part of our research, particularly as we can compare and contrast consumer and adviser views to see where any gaps lie.

“We can only do this with the support of the sector and the more survey responses we receive, the better informed our research will be.”
