Hodge, Livemore and Air Mortgage Club are supporting a series of free adviser events across the UK aimed at the later life lending market.

These later life collaboration events will be held in Leeds, Coventry and Swindon following the first event in Glasgow, which took place last week.

The CPD accredited events will discuss this growing sector of the mortgage market,  and provide an opportunity for delegates to share their expertise and knowledge.

These events are a collaboration between lenders and distributers in this sector,  including Hodge, Livemore, Air Mortgage Club, Standard Life Home Finance, Legal & General Home Finance and the Family Building Society.

Hodge director of business development Emma Graham says: “Recent Hodge research shows 70% of brokers require more education in the later life space.

“This is why we’ve formed this collaboration to give brokers access to lenders who cater across the breadth of this market, from affordability-based solutions, to lifetime mortgage options.”

The events will include keynote speaker, Jon Dunckley, a qualified consultant in psychology, financial services and business management who will discuss the psychology of the adviser-client relationship.

Livermore director of intermediary sales Les Pick added that adviser feedback on the workshop format has been positive.
