The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has launched an academy to train aspiring mortgage and protection advisers.
The network says its new initiative, The Right Academy, is designed to equip a new generation of brokers with the skills, knowledge and support needed to build a long-term career in financial services.
The Right Academy will focus on supporting new entrants working towards Competent Adviser Status (CAS), combining structured learning with hands-on experience and supervision.
Advisers will begin the programme as trainees and will be supported by dedicated compliance and supervision managers, alongside TRM’s training and compliance teams.
The programme includes a three-day induction, tailored support through to sign-off, ongoing training towards CAS, specialist masterclasses and guidance on generating leads.
It also provides a structured route to becoming an appointed representative.
Alongside the academy, TRM has launched a new Supervision Hub on its adviser website, offering additional tools and resources to support advisers and firms through the non-CAS process.
The Right Mortgage & Protection Network managing director Ben Allen says: “At a time when the industry is facing a clear need to attract and retain new talent, initiatives like The Right Academy are essential.
“This is something I feel incredibly passionate about.
“This industry has been very good to me, and The Right Academy is about opening the door for others to build the same rewarding careers, while helping to improve the sector, increase diversity and give something back.
“For TRM, this is about strengthening the quality and resilience of our network for years to come.
“By investing in people at the very start of their journey, we are helping to build a stronger, more sustainable adviser community that benefits firms, clients and the wider market.”
