AMI appoints five to its board after annual elections Mortgage Finance Gazette

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has appointed five to its board following its annual elections, including two re-elections.

In the Club Constituency, L&G director of mortgage club and distribution Clare Beardmore and in the Association of Finance Brokers constituency, Fluent Money chief executive officer Tim Wheeldon have both been re-elected.

Sesame Network distribution director Toni Smith and LSL Financial Services chief risk officer Helen Martin have been newly elected to the Network Constituency.

Meanwhile, Crystal FS group sales director Jason Berry has been elected to the Regional Constituency.

All AMI board positions are elected on a rolling basis, typically for three-year terms, with existing members eligible for re-election.

AMI chief executive Stephanie Charman says: “This process ensures that our membership continues to feel confident in its representation. I would like to thank all those who stood for election, reinforcing the importance of a transparent and democratic process.”

The AMI board also extended its gratitude to outgoing members for their dedicated service, Ray Boulger of John Charcol and Steve Harris from Sesame Bankhall Group who are stepping down after 23 and 3 years respectively.”
