Broker network White Rose Finance Group has appointed Claire Mitchell as relationship and project support manager.
Mitchell joins from TransUnion, where she spent two years as a key account manager.
Before this, she spent five years at alternative lender Reward Finance, working in secured lending to small and medium-sized businesses.
In her new role, Mitchell will work with White Rose’s appointed representative network, supporting existing broker relationships and helping members develop their businesses.
She will also support the development of Lender Hub V3, the group’s commercial finance sourcing platform.
This will include work to integrate the system with lenders’ APIs to improve the accuracy and availability of lending information.
White Rose currently supports around 150 appointed representatives.
White Rose Finance Group managing director John Kent says: “Claire brings a great deal of experience to White Rose, having worked on both the lending and credit information sides of the industry.
“That gives her a good understanding of the challenges brokers face and the importance of having the right support in place when they’re trying to get deals over the line.
“She’ll also have an important part to play in the next stage of Lender Hub’s development, helping us make sure the technology we’re investing in delivers practical benefits for the brokers using it.”
Mitchell adds: “Having spent several years working in SME lending, I know how important the relationship between brokers and lenders can be, particularly when a case needs a more individual approach.
“Brokers need to know they can speak to someone who understands what they’re trying to achieve and can help them find a way forward.”
