Clydesdale Bank is hiking rates on a number of products by up to 25 basis points tomorrow.

The lender has emailed brokers to say it is making the increases this evening and applications for current deals must be in by 8pm.

Among the changes, core residential deals at 65-75% LTV, including product transfers will go up by up to 25 bps.

Some of its exclusives, including large loans and product transfers will also increase by up to 25 bps

Selected remortgage and purchase exclusives will rise by 10 bps.

In its professional range, some rates at 65-75% LTV will also increase by 25 bps.

The changes come after Halifax also raised some rates today following an announcement yesterday.
