The Melton appoints Andy Lumby as chief financial officer

Lumby brings over 17 years’ experience in financial services having held a number of senior finance positions, including head of finance at Nottingham Building Society and most recently finance director at Tipton & Coseley Building Society.

A chartered accountant, Lumby started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before moving into the mutual sector.

Simon Taylor, chief executive of the Melton Building Society, said: “Andy’s range of skills and experience will be an extremely valuable addition to the Society to help us continue to drive our strategy and build on our growth and performance to create a modern mutual.

Lumby added: “I’m delighted to be joining the Melton at such an exciting time of growth,” said Andy Lumby.

“I will be responsible for the Society’s Finance and Treasury management functions along with implementation of the Society’s financial strategies.
