Keystone Property Finance has promoted Morgan Barnes to head of product transfers.
The specialist lender says Barnes (pictured) reports to managing director Elise Coole in the newly-created role, and will lead a dedicated product transfer team, which includes a team leader and several specialists.
Barnes, who has been with the business since before Keystone became a lender in its own right in 2018, was previously head of case management.
Keystone launched its product transfer loans in 2021 and last year followed this with a product transfer plus option, which allows landlords to apply for additional borrowing within a single product.
Barnes says she comes into the role “at a time when product transfers are becoming an increasingly important part of the buy-to-let market.
“More and more customers are choosing product transfers because they’re quicker, simpler and more cost-effective than a full remortgage, which is why we are investing in this area of our proposition.
She adds: “Since launching our product transfer proposition four years ago, it has evolved significantly.
“Over the coming 12 months, we will continue to enhance the journey, making it even smoother, faster and more efficient for brokers and their clients.
“This includes expanding the team to ensure we can meet the increasing demand for this type of product.”
