Virgin Money pushes up resi and BTL rates | Mortgage Strategy

Virgin Money has increased rates on a number of its residential and buy-to-let (BTL) products.

In the core residential selection, a 20 basis point increase sees the 65% LTV five-year fix move to 3.89%, the 75% LTV five-year fix to 3.93%, and the 75% LTV 10-year fix go to 4.10%.

All of the above charge a £995 fee.

Other changes include all 85% LTV to 95% LTV two- and three-year fixes increasing by 40 basis points and all 85% LTV to 95% LTV five-, seven-, 10- and 15-year fixes rising by 30 basis points.

Meanwhile, in the BTL suite, Virgin Money has increased the 75% LTV five-year fix with £1,995 fee by 30 basis points, which sees it at 3.95%, and the 75% LTV five-year fix with £995 by 30 basis points as well, to 4.10%.

Further changes see all two- and three-year fixed rates up by 40 basis points.

The new prices take effect from 8pm tonight.
