Nationwide Building Society has annnounced selected rate changes across its product range.

Examples include for new customers with a 75% LTV two year fixed with a £999 fee the rate has increased to 4.50% and with no fee the rate is 4.76%. For a 75% LTV five-year fixed with a £999 fee the rate has increased to 4.49% and 4.64% when no fee is applied.

For first time buyers with 85% LTV on a two-year fixed Nationwide has increased the rate to 4.83% with a £999 fee and 5.14% with no fee.

Some rates remain unchanged – for instance for first time buyers on a three year fixed with 90% LTV, the rate stays at 5.09% with a £999 fee and 5.34% when no fee is applied.

For remortgage customers with a 80% LTV two- year fixed Nationwide is increasing the rate to 4.94% with a £999 fee but with no fee attached the rate remains at 5.09%.

With all these rates a minimum loan of £25k applies.

For existing customers and homemovers changes include:  for a five-year fix with 75% LTV the rate has increased to 4.34% with a £999 fee and 4.48% with no fee.  And for customers on a 90% LTV two-year fix, the rate has increased to 5.16% with a £999 fee and 5.44% with no fee.
