Bank of Ireland UK names Brown as head of home buying and ownership | Mortgage Strategy

Bank of Ireland UK has appointed Martin Brown as head of home buying and ownership.

After joining Bank of Ireland UK in 2001, Brown has held a number of roles across various areas within the UK business, including Bristol & West Mortgages and Personal Lending UK.

Most recently, he served as head of strategy, governance, risk and quality assurance.

Commenting on Brown’s new role, Bank of Ireland UK director of Northern Ireland, partnerships and mortgages George Higginson says: “I would like to congratulate Martin on his new appointment.  Martin brings a wealth of experience to this important role, as we continue to successfully deliver our focused, niche mortgage strategy and strengthen our relationships with brokers.”

Brown adds: “I am excited to be taking on this new role and feel privileged to be part of a dynamic team of experts who continue to evolve our award-winning Bespoke proposition and roll out new propositions and services, enabled by our investment in enhancing our digital capabilities.”
