What led you to where you are today?

"My journey to where I am today was truly shaped by mentorship. During my previous career in the insurance industry, I was fortunate to work under exceptional leaders who had a profoundly positive impact on my life. When I made the transition to Island Sotheby’s International Realty, I was again guided by a mentor whose support and guidance I am deeply grateful for. One significant similarity between my experiences in insurance and real estate is the shared focus on helping and guiding individuals with their most significant investments. Having spent 24 years in the insurance industry, I have been able to assist people in protecting the most valuable aspects of their lives. Similarly, in real estate, I have the opportunity to support, guide, and assist those same individuals with what may be the most important investment of their lives."

What's your favorite part about living in Maui and why?

“I was born and raised in Maui, so of course, "Maui No Ka Oi." I love the small-town feel. Everything is minutes away, yet miles apart.”

What's your favorite part about being a realtor

“Being on a team of trusted advisors is my favorite part of being a realtor.”

Why did you choose ISIR?

“Island Sotheby’s International Realty’s reputation and brand recognition played a large part in my decision to join. After joining the team, I can speak to the company’s culture of ohana. You can feel it!”

Where is one place on the island we can find you on the weekend or in your spare time, and why?

“Island Grocery shopping for all my ingredients to cook the local food that my family loves. Besides cooking and creating delicious meals, I enjoy gathering and spending time with my family and friends in my spare time."

What local spot is a "must-visit," and why?

"My local spot that I consider a “must-visit”  is Iao Valley. Growing up, I spent much time there, swimming in the rivers and ponds and exploring the forest throughout the park. Even today, you can go there any weekend and find the park full of families enjoying the valley. It’s an extraordinary place filled with rich history and stunning sights.

If you’re a Foodie, you should visit Guava Tree Bar & Grill in Wailuku. Try the Ginger Tofu, Ahi Katsu, and Ribeye Steaks. It’s all so good! You can expect to find live music being played by some of Maui’s best bands and new up-and-coming musicians. It’s just good fun."

What is your favorite thing about your office's city?

"Makawao town is so quaint and adorable. Every now and then, you will catch a cowboy or cowgirl riding their horse through town. The storefronts still have hitching posts to “park” a horse. So cool."

What should clients know about you?

"I'm a Maui native. When buying a home in the Valley Isle, you should work with someone that knows the lifestyle, history, and culture of the place where you are building a future. You should partner with someone who is not only an excellent realtor but also someone who knows what it means to live the Maui life. I know the nuances of the island, and I am well-connected thanks to my business background."
