Help the enironment and local area dogs keep the beach clean.  Head on over to the dog beach at Jupiter beach this Saturday morning and join the Friends of Jupiter Beach as they help clean up the area shoreline.  Friends of Jupiter Beach is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally health, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida.

In 1994, the threat of closing the beach to dogs rallied a small group of concerned citizens, who quickly began organizing beach cleanups and providing dog waste bags at beach crossovers. Since then, the group has exploded, with individuals and businesses joining in an effort which “repeatedly demonstrate care for their marine environment and the privilege of taking our four-footed friends to one of the last dog beaches in the area”.
