Dear Mortgage Women,

This will be my final letter to you through this publication, as my time with the magazine has come to a close. I am so grateful for the time I spent with this community over the last three years. It was always a dream to edit and develop a publication, and an honor to watch that unfold.

As I move on to pursue other ventures, I am happy to announce Leora Ruzin will be taking my position. Leora is the first person I thought of when considering a replacement, and I believe she is the perfect person to lead our community to a new level of growth. Leora has extensive mortgage experience in a variety of areas, demonstrates consistent leadership in the industry, and is a powerful writer. In the last year, she was named in the 30 Most Powerful Women in Fintech by Progress in Lending and was a Women with Vision award winner. Leora’s writing has been published countless times in this publication and has made the cover of HousingWire’s May 2019 issue. I want to thank the community of women who have read and contributed during my tenure, and to mPower and other industry leaders for their ongoing support and involvement. I am excited to pass the baton to such a wonderful replacement, and I look forward to watching the publication evolve.
