What led you to where you are today?
After gaining experience working in the luxury market on mega yachts, resorts, and property management beginning in 2007, transitioning into real estate was a natural progression and an easy choice. The knowledge and skills acquired during my time in the hospitality industry thus far, such as customer service, attention to detail, understanding of luxury clientele, and anticipating their needs, can be valuable assets in the real estate industry which I apply daily.
What's your favorite part about living in Maui and why?
Maui is renowned for its natural beauty, pristine beaches, and vibrant culture. Living on Maui offers me the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed and laid-back lifestyle in a tropical paradise. I enjoy the island's diverse outdoor activities, including swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and exploring new places in nature in my free time. Additionally, Maui's warm and welcoming community and stunning sunsets contribute to the island's unique charm that constantly surprises me.
What's your favorite part about being a realtor?
As a realtor, one of the most rewarding aspects is helping clients find their dream homes or investment properties. Being able to guide and support clients throughout the entire real estate process, from property searches to negotiations and closing, brings a sense of fulfillment. Additionally, real estate allows networking opportunities, continuous learning about the market, and the chance to develop long-term client relationships.
Why did you choose ISIR?
There were several factors that influenced my desire to join ISIR. At the top of the list are ISIR’s wonderful reputation, the overall mantra and culture, the networking opportunities the company offers, the marketing techniques and strategies that are offered, and support from fellow agents and management.
Where is one place on the island we can find you on the weekend or in your spare time?
After living on Maui for over ten years, the beautiful beaches have never lost their appeal. Weather permitting, I will spend time at the beach every weekend, enjoying the outdoors and swimming. The beach has always been a relaxing place for me to enjoy time with friends, family, and nature.
What local spot is a "must-visit," and why?
Maui offers numerous must-visit spots, and choosing just one can be challenging. However, if I were to suggest a popular destination, I would recommend visiting the iconic Haleakala National Park. Haleakala, meaning "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian, is a dormant volcano and offers stunning views from its summit at sunrise or sunset. The park's unique landscapes, including the volcanic crater, diverse flora and fauna, and opportunities for hiking and stargazing, make it a memorable experience. Don’t forget to bring warm clothes. Haleakala National Park can reach freezing temperatures in the winter, and even snow showers occasionally.
What is your favorite thing about your office's city?
My office is located in Napili on the west side of Maui. Napili has a quaint small-town feel with several locally-owned businesses and restaurants. Napili offers accessibility to various snorkeling beaches and hiking trails as well. My favorite thing about Napili is the farmers market every Saturday which displays the strong sense of community that Napili possesses.
What do you think clients should know about you?
What sets me apart from the crowd would be three main factors. First is my ability to prioritize my client's needs and goals. I really believe that one should take time to get to the client's needs and goals and tailor their preferences to offer the best guidance and recommendations. The second would be my communication skills. Effective communication is crucial in real estate transactions. I possess strong interpersonal skills, active listening abilities, and the capacity to clearly articulate information to clients. I am also very responsive and available to my clients throughout the buying or selling process. The third quality that sets me apart from the crowd is my professionalism and integrity. I always operate with the utmost professionalism and integrity. I adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize my client's best interests. Trustworthiness, honesty, and transparency are essential qualities that are very important to me in all my client relationships.
