The Honda Classic has been named the “Most Fan First Event” on the PGA Tour at the Annual Best Awards event this year. The Fan Friendly award was presented to The Honda Classic Golf Tournament that is held in Palm Beach Gardens every year.The Honda Classic tournament made its move to Palm Beach Gardens PGA National Resort and Spa in 2007 and this is the second time the tournament was recognized by the PGA Tour for its excellence in fan engagement. The tournament was recognized in 2018 for the Best Onsite Staging among the PGA Tour events. “The Most Fan First” award recognizes the PGA Tour’s event that stands out for parking, transportation, food options, amenity stations, social media engagement, and affordable ticket options. This year, The Honda Classic has expanded its ticket options and clubs. The tickets options and clubs for 2019 included the Legends Club, Champions Club at the 18th Hole, Goslings Bear Trap, Cobra Puma Golf Village, Waterford Club, Titos Stillhouse Lounge, The Bear Trap Reserve at the 17th Hole, The Oasis and the FPL Patio. The 2020 Honda Classic Gold Tournament will be held at the PGA National Resort and Spa starting Monday, February 24th with practice rounds and events and the tournament begins Thursday, February 27th through Sunday, March 1st.
