The River Center in Jupiter is hosting their second annual Atala Butterfly Festival and Family Day this weekend. Head to the River Center this Saturday for the fun-filled event.

The Butterfly Festival celebrates the Atala Butterfly. The butterfly was once thought to be extinct, but the beautiful butterfly is local here in Jupiter and is thriving right in our own backyards.

The day’s events will include butterfly arts and crafts, a Native Plant sale, Native Plant seed harvesting, Tours of the River Center migratory bird and butterfly garden, and more.

Tickets are available for this weekend’s event and are limited due to space. The River Center is offering two time slots for the event. From 10 am to 11:30 am and from 11:30 am to 1 pm. When purchasing tickets, please select the time slow in which you wish to attend.
