Just Mortgages has created a dedicated academy and broker support facility in Manchester, marking its first in the north of England.

Previously advisers that wanted to join the Just Mortgages Self-Employed division have had to travel to Northamptonshire for the face-to-face element of their induction training.

Just Mortgages says it “strongly believes that face-to-face training delivers the most complete and immersive training experience”.

The new training location in Manchester is supported by the appointment of a new training manager Tom Bell, who will be responsible for the Northern areas of the UK.

Commenting on the new facility, Just Mortgages senior training manager Laura Hide says: “We’re thrilled to open this new facility in the north of England which will be more inclusive and convenient for our northern-based applicants.”

“We have been offering workshops and one-day sessions in the north since restrictions were relaxed and the success of these has driven our increased commitment to the region and to ensure courses are more accessible.”

Regional director Ashley Edwards adds: “The north of England has a huge amount of talented, passionate, and driven individuals who will be wonderful in running their own businesses. We’re delighted to be playing our part in helping them start and develop their businesses and induction is a huge part of this.”
