R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity has confirmed season two of the West Ham United Foundation x R;pple Cup.
Key sponsors of the second annual charity football tournament, supporting West Ham United Foundation and R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity, are Shawbrook Bank and Hampshire Trust Bank.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event at the West Ham United Academy, this year’s 2025 charity cup on 18 September promises to be even bigger.
The tournament coincides with the official launch of The Foundry, West Ham United Foundation’s new Community Hub – seven years in the making and recently featured on Match of the Day.
Commenting on the event R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity chief executive and founder Alice Hendy said:
“This year, we’re broadening our reach, welcoming new faces alongside familiar friends, and strengthening the vital message that every life matters. The enthusiasm and dedication of our teams, sponsors, and supporters remind me daily why our work in suicide prevention is so important.”
HTB managing director, specialist mortgages & bridging finance Alex Upton said:
We’re proud to be supporting this year’s tournament alongside the West Ham United Foundation and R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity. Football has a unique way of bringing people together, and this event shows how the game can drive a positive impact far beyond the pitch.
“At HTB, we believe in the power of partnership and community, and we’re delighted to play a part in raising vital funds for mental health and suicide prevention.”
