Smartr365 and Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) have signed a new commercial partnership contract.
The latest partnership boosts the deal from the decision in principle stage to the entire full mortgage application process.
The enhanced integration will be used by the 5,100 brokers using Smartr365, including its corporate partners at Sesame, L&G, and JustMortgages.
It builds on the collaboration that began over five years ago when Smartr365 and LBG delivered the first-ever application programming interface (API) integration in the UK mortgage sector.
Smartr365 chief executive officer Conor Murphy says: “Our extended integration will set a new standard in the mortgage sector, benefiting brokers and clients alike.”
Lloyds Banking Group’s Laura Myers adds: “API integrations are integral to the development of an end-to-end digital home buying experience, with a simpler, slicker process allowing more time for brokers to engage with customers.”
