The top five banks in the list had a combined second-lien loan volume of more than $95 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2024. Most lenders in the ranking saw an increase between Q3 2024 and Q4 2024, with Discover seeing the largest increase at 5.95%.

The data in this ranking came from National Mortgage News' MortgageStats site, which pulls information from quarterly call reports available from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
