Brokers can now access the Land Registry search facility directly through the One Mortgage System (OMS) platform.

This means that users will be able to access a property title register, title number, and title plan, as well as obtain of these and access a bankruptcy search for their client.

This is the second integration this year, with OMS teaming up with  Legal & General’s SmartrFit affordability calculator tool at the end of January.

OMS managing director Neal Jannels says: “The Land Registry search facility offers access to some important records which can help brokers collate relevant information to successfully package a case upfront, rather than potentially having to deal with a string of enquiries from lenders down the line.

“Being able to easily access this from within the OMS platform also means that all the relevant information can be stored in one place without users having to waste time and energy searching through different files and opening new browsers.

“Our aim is to make OMS the one-stop platform for brokers and these types of integrations will help make this journey a reality.”
