Clydesdale Bank has made rate changes to its residential and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage range, effective from today (15 December).
For new customer products, the lender has reduced fixed rates by up to 0.14% for 75% to 90% loan to values (LTVs), with rates now starting at 4.79%.
The BTL 60% to 75% LTV five-year fixes have gone down by 0.21% and now start from 5.32%.
Professional and newly qualified professional 85% LTV five-year fixes now start from 5.18% after being reduced by 0.17%.
Meanwhile, the lender’s exclusive £1m to £2m 75% LTV fixed rates with a £1,999 fee have been reduced by up to 0.07%, now from 5.05%.
The £1m plus 65% to 85% LTV fixed rates have been reduced by up to 0.10%, with rates now starting from 5.14%.
For product transfer products, 65% to 95% LTV fixed rates with £499 fee have been lowered by up to 0.10% now from 4.79% while the 65% to 95% LTV fixed rate fee savers have been reduced by up to 0.17%, now from 4.90%.
The BTL 60% to 80% LTV five-year fixed rates have been reduced by 0.21%, now from 5.32%.
Professional and newly qualified professional 85% LTV five-year fixed rates have been lowered by 0.17%, now from 5.18%.
Exclusive £1m to £2m 75% LTV fixed rates with a £1,999 fee have gone down by up to 0.07%, now from 5.05%, while the £1m plus 65% to 85% LTV fixed rates have been reduced by up to 0.10%, now from 5.14%.
Examples of the new rate changes include:
- Residential two-year fixed at 75% with a fee of £999 reduced from 5.15% to 5.09%
- Residential five-year fixed at 75% with no fee lowered from 5.14% to 5.00%
- Residential professional five-year fixed at 85% with no fee reduced from 5.35% to 5.18%
